My baby turns 1!

I can't believe that my little boy is 1! Crazy!!

And today I did a mini birthday shoot, here are some of my favs! :)

Blake is definitely a happy little boy. He loves to laugh and finds everything amusing. The only time he is cranky is when he is hungry (he loves to eat!) or tired (he sleeps almost as much as he eats!). He loves playing with his brother and cuddling up with us. The cutest thing about Blake is that if you lay down on the floor, he gets so excited and crawls over to lay down next to you and cuddle! He totally has his own personality and we are so lucky to have him in our family!

And after coming to the conclusion that there is no way we will be able to afford 2 years of Preschool, and at $150+/month, we may not even do one year of preschool, I've decided to start "Mommy School". I'll do a mini lesson 1-2 times a week during Blake's nap time. Today was "A is for Alligator", we read some Alligator themed books, finger painted and practiced tracing the letter A with our fingers. Sang some songs, colored a picture and traced the letter A with a marker. Made an Alligator craft and watched an alligator episode of Charlie and Lola.

P.S. Cole just now told me "Mom, I didn't think Mommy School was going to be fun but it was fun." ummm, I'm happy that you had fun but thanks a lot for the vote of confidence! LOL

And today, Cole showed just what a boy he is by holding this little frog that Nick found in the yard. Meanwhile I freaked out a little every time it jumped out of his hand! I did not want that thing landing on me!
