So I was planning on blogging weekly but it seems like it might end up being monthly!! LOL
January was somewhat eventful for us. Nick started a new job! He is still with AT&T but he is now managing the Bellevue Square retail store. He is enjoying being back in a store but I have to admit that so far the new hours have been hard for me! LOL I liked how flexible his schedule was before!
My birthday was this month and I turned 28! Yikes, only two more years until I turn 30 which is going to be sooooo trippy! I still remember my mom's 30th birthday party so it will be really weird when I am turning 30. My sister flew into town for a my birthday and brought her adorable daughter Charlie. It was a lot of fun having her here!!! I'm already planning my trip to go see her. It really sucks that we live so far away from each other.
OH, and I got my camera!! A Nikon D310o. I am soooo excited but I still need to figure out how to work all of the settings!
Okay, enough chit chat... here's our month in photos:
A fun little firecracker craft we did for New Years Eve!
I cut up some paper confetti for Cole to throw at midnight. He loved it!
And of course we needed some sparkling cider!
Such a happy baby in his jumper!
Cole started sunbeams this year! So far he is doing okay... I teach the 5 year olds so I am in sharing time at the same time as him. This is good because I am able to step in when he starts hitting one of the other kids, lol! Although sometime I wish I wasn't in there at the same time because I am sure they would figure it out without me and then I wouldn't have to worry about it! The funny thing is that he refuses to sing because it's "too loud." One Sunday they passed out bells for the kids to shake during the song and he held his quietly because he didn't like all of the noise! Silly kid! He doesn't mind being WAY too loud at home!
This is what he gives me when I try to get a "nice" picture of him in church clothes!
Cole loves his little brother and the feeling is mutual. Unfortunately he might love him a bit too much and Blake ends up getting laid on a lot!
So, I probably shouldn't be admitting this but yes, Cole is wearing Christmas pajama bottoms with his Thanksgiving shirt... in January. That's just how we roll...
Blake is eating solids now and has turned into a little oinker. I was having a little difficulty feeding him hence the sweet potato mess all the way up to his eye!
Proof that Blake thinks it's hilarious when Cole roughs him up. The kid has no sense of self preservation!
Blake and Charlie hanging out! This is Blake's favorite pose because he can't see to get himself up in a sitting position!
Before the babies were born my mom got these little kitty cat hats for them in CA. We did a little photo shoot of the kids wearing them! It was super cute, they were so fascinated with them! This is my fav photo of Blake.

Such a handsome boy!
Hugs! Blake is zoning out because of the TV, lol!
MAJOR meltdown! These have become an almost daily occurrence! He was soooo mad that I was taking pictures! hehe!
I took Cole to Target with me and let him pick out a shirt. This is what we ended up with. Ummm, okaaaaaay?
Blake is crawling all over the place! His favorite thing is to crawl through the TV dinner tables. He usually gets stuck or knocks over the table which means we have been putting them away a lot more lately!
This boy loves to laugh! Seriously how cute is he!!??!!
That's it for January now onto February! Nick's birthday is in a few days, he's going to be 32... oldie!! :P
In other news, my sister and I are reading a list of books from "1001 books you have to read before you die." Right now we are reading all of the books from the 1800's which is going to take us a few years considering it is 150 books! Here's a blog where we are documenting the challenge, if we can keep up with the blogging that is! http://booksmysisterreads.blogspot.com
